The Money Method Parent Coaching

The Preschool and The First Year Program use a unique approach to support families. The approach is to offer parenting classes for just the parents and caregivers that alternate with facilitated playgroups that include children and their families. The Prenatal Program offers a focus on relationship building and reflective learning as the participants are taken on a self-reflective journey, uncovering their parenting values and beliefs. Supporting the couples in their transformation from partners to parents. All programs will have a choice of either attending face to face sessions (once Covid restrictions are lifted), live virtual sessions, or self-directed learning with either pre-recorded classes and the parenting workbook combo or just the parenting workbooks as a stand alone.

The Money Method Philosophy

The Money Method Philosophy is deeply rooted in the view that children are competent and capable with a wealth of knowledge and understanding about the world around them. While appreciating that parents and caregivers are the key to children’s success as they provide early interactions and experiences. The aim is to educate families of the ways they can maximize these learning opportunities as they are the child’s first teacher and play a significant role in their education and lifelong learning. The Money Method Philosophy believes that by developing a shared understanding amongst parents of this particular view, what that looks like and sounds like for young children and the benefits of teaching to the whole child, will support the families in meeting their parenting goals and to bring back the joy to their parenting. The belief being that this is done by helping families to see themselves as competent and capable, as well. Empowered parents are better able to meet the evolving needs of their children.

Parenting is much more than just curbing undesired behavior, it is about raising well-adjusted, emotionally connected, intelligent, creative, and happy children.
